We survived this short, long week!
Charlotte had a great game the other night and went 4 for 4! She really is coming along with her knee recovery. She had a GREAT game!
We then raced over to the school auditorium where she gave an amazing presentation discussing a bunch of school items from the year long Superintendent's Advisory Board she was chosen to sit on.
We don't get the pleasure of hearing her present much because a lot of the things she presents are done during her class time in front of her peers. So this was so nice to see how confident and eloquent she speaks. I was really impressed. Better than most adults!
So she gets a break from softball today because she left for her weekend long music trip to Hershey this morning! Sad for me because I will miss my girl, but happy for her she breaks away from the insanity and going, going constantly...
Weather is supposed to be crummy this weekend I think, so I guess I'll just catch up on some shows, organize a few closets and chill. We did a lot of outdoor work about 3 weeks ago so we are in okay shape there for now. Yes, there's always stuff to do, but if it rains, I won't be devastated because it hasn't rained here in weeks. We need it. To wash away all the pollen, too.
So yes, it will be a VERY quiet weekend here. Unless Mr. Webster has a surprise planned! LOLLLLLL
My parents are still recovering from COVID. They got hit hard. My Dad worse than my Mom. She's coming along, he's coming along sloooowly! They are both still testing positive so we can't see them yet. That stinks. I hope they get back to feeling good soon. UGH.
Have a great weekend guys.
Love, Ann
