Happy Monday.
Well, this was quite the stressful, worry weekend about Charlotte. She was laid up all weekend since her softball fall. She was icing on and off the entire weekend, hobbling around on crutches with a brace and just in some major pain. Longest weekend of my life knowing that we would get the MRI results this afternoon.

Could not stop thinking about the what ifs all day at work. So we were more than thrilled when the sports orthopedic doctor delivered some great news! He said she's in pain because she has terrible bone bruising. She also has a sprained knee, HOWEVER, she was a hair away of tearing her ACL and explained to us her bones and muscles are so strong and in such great shape, this saved her from the tear. We would otherwise be having a VERY different conversation. He said he wanted her in therapy and to be walking around more without crutches and bending the knee more because this would increase blood flow to the area and speed up healing. He said she could be ready to play this weekend if she feels good enough, if not the week after. Totally up to HER and the way she feels. SO... GREAT news!
I was so beyond stressed for her being the MOST important softball year for her, So thank you angels for that good news today. Now, I can breathe. Looking forward to her coming back stronger than ever.
Time heals everything, right? Just so glad it's not the ACL. Phew!!
So that's the biggest news in our world today. So beyond blessed and happy. Tons of well wishes over the weekend from players, friends, family and coaches. We are blessed.
