YES! Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
Today, was our last day with students then a week and a half of finals on a different schedule. What a relief to say adios to those kids. By far, everyone has said, the hardest year. We had a whole new team of Admin at school. Zero discipline, zero accountability for students, such a lack of disrespect and cheating from kids like I've NEVER seen before. Such a crummy school year for a hundred different reasons. Just so glad it's over. All we have to do is get through the next week and we're good. Then we can take a GIANT leap into summer vacation.
We are heading over to the softball tournament in CT this weekend. Will be a full Saturday of 3 games. Then a definite 1 game on Sunday and from there single elimination.
Also, trying to think ahead for Charlotte's college future and what will be. Regarding softball etc. So, the first step will be to create a softball profile page to send to college recruit coaches and so they can google her and see her credentials. Can't believe this is where we are, but we ARE. So, I promised her after all this school stuff settles, we would work on that for her big time.
Speaking of, she had her softball awards last night where she earned honor for being the only freshman varsity scholar athlete all conference nominee. She will get her big All Conference acknowledgement tonight at Farmingdale College. We will leave here in an hour to drive out there and cheer her on.
So beyond proud of her and all she accomplished in her first year of HS. BRAVOOO to her!
