Happy Sunday y'all.
Charlotte just got on the bus to head back to UNC. Was a real nice few days with her. Always difficult to say good-bye again. But knowing that I will see her again in 4 days when we head down for Parents' Weekend is keeping me going.
I've been looking forward to that weekend since August. We are going to a big football game on Saturday night against Syracuse. Can't wait. UNC beat their rival DUKE yesterday for football. It was such an exciting game to watch.
We spent the day yesterday out in the Hamptons at a fall farm we used to take Charlotte to when she was little. Then spent the day walking around to the shops in Southampton and having lunch at a cool place. It was an afternoon well spent. We ate pumpkin spice donuts that were delish and laughed. Which I definitely needed.
Other than that, just cleaning up this week and packing up to leave Thursday at 3 right after school. My Mom so nicely, will drive us to the airport. Which is a big ask. Love her for always wanting to help me out.
Had my Middle School observation last week, so I'm glad that's over and went well. I have a busy few weeks ahead with school meeting, conferences and Quarterly Exams, but it'll all get done. My motto, big time lately, is Hour By Hour.
So for now, Sunday ironing and prepping for the week.
Hugs, Ann
