Well it's been a few days since we chatted about the graduation, prom and all the hooplah!
Charlotte left on Monday at 11 AM after a graduation partying weekend for her SENIOR trop. Around 20 of them road tripped it to the middle of nowhere PA to a luxury airbnb, swoonworthy! It really was gorgeous. The spent the last two days bonding, playing games, grilling out, camp firing and all the outdoor FUN! They left just in time for the heatwave to hit. She crawled in the door about 2 hours ago and is dead asleep next to me in my bed. A time well spent. But now, it's laundry turnaround time and repacking because her BFF Caroline, decided to have their 5 kid best friend group away to celebrate her graduation at a condo with her family in Ocean City, Maryland for the fourth of JULY! Like whaaaat? Her family couldn't have picked a different weekend? Dear Lord. It's A LOT.

So here we are. The last 3 days with the husband have been spent getting the house all put together for the double grad party. Or shall I say the grad party on steroids!
I'm spent physically and mentally. I'm still battling, what's probably at this point, bronchitis. I sound and feel AWFUL :( Since last Wednesday! I just need to feel better...
I did manage to get over to see Mom and Dad yesterday. Was good for the soul. Watched some soccer with Dad and went shopping with Mom. They always make everything better. I found a nice sundress to wear for the party. Have to be comfortable and cool.
So we are in party mode here at Casa Web, then I can maybe breathe when I'm on a flight to UNC for orientation two days after the party. Get the heck out of here. Everyone is telling me I will fall in love with Chapel Hill. Cannot wait.
So that's the update for now. Bracing ourselves for an over 100 degree heatwave. My hydrangea are showing off in the front yard which I'm super happy about.
