Happy Friday everyone!
We have had so much going on here on the daily! Yesterday we had Marina's SURPRISE Bed Deco Party and it was amazing! Barb did a great job then the girls came with their college merch contribution and BAM! It was soooooo great.
Then today, we had a real early wake up for that Valedictorian brunch I've been mentioning. We had to be dressed up and there by 8 AM. It was about 45 min away.
What an affair it was. We sat at a table with Charlotte and the Salutatorian and her Superintendent. Such nice guys and they raved about our girl. Was a nice ceremony. And it was our first of many celebrations for this busy month of JUNE! It was emotional for all the parents in attendance. It really is a huge honor.
We raced home, changed and then game ON for getting the house ready for Charlotte's college bed deco party. It's a surprise but it's also coming SOON! So I'm under the gun.
We also just got another two invites for the next two weeks for more awards ceremonies. So busy! And it's flyingggggg. here.
Their party is also something I'm trying to plan simultaneously. One tired mama here.
But, today was a few hours of pausing and celebrating the girl and all of her 12 years of hard work and dedication.
In a plot twist, Charlotte is meeting up with the UNC Asst Coach for the softball team July 15th when we go down there! She already had a phone call with her and wants to meet her. Maybe a foot in the door by managing or warming up the pitchers. We shall see..... But SO COOL! Imagine? D1- UNC CHAPEL HILL!
So, cheers to her! Cheers to you for supporting her.
Can't wait to finally be able to breathe and soak it all in.
