Happy Father's Day!

Wishing all of you a very happy father's day. Web was away since Thursday, surprising his mother for her 80th birthday. Charlotte and I couldn't go, way too much happening here 5 days before prom and graduation. We attended a grad party yesterday for one of her friends. She's known her since they're 4.It's crazy how fast high school flew! Elementary school dragged, but high school flew because I guess we were just so darn busy. I woke up and she's writing a Valedictorian speech and registering at UNC. How did we get here? But talking with a few of the moms last night, everyone is feeling it. Yikes. My friends in work made me promise, I would sit and listen to Char's speech, no videoing, no pictures, just listen and embrace it because "Ann," they said "YOU are ALWAYS the memory preserver, videographer, portrait taker, let someone else do it for you for a change!" Guess what? They're right.

So we will be hearing Charlotte's speech for the first time on Friday at 7 PM with everyone else. That's what she wanted. Us to hear it that day. Gulp.

She worked all morning today, then will come home quick and change to go to her other good friend's grad party.. Going, going. Tomorrow I pick up the altered prom and graduation dresses and that's that. I give my Regents Exam tomorrow, so I need to focus on getting all of that graded before Friday because all bets are off come Thurs and Fri . I'm on super mom duty!

Just wanted to make sure I had her special grad day gift all bought, the card, a special gift for her boyfriend Michael, plus I'm putting together a HUGE double grad party, so yeah, lots happening.

Anyway, we are working on stuff around the house no great big shakes planned for this Sunday. Times a tickin'.... I painted the front steps while he was gone and did a huge outdoor clean up. He's painting that small back deck off the kitchen, it's not a big job, just want to get it out of the way before it gets brutally hot.

Have a great start to the week. I'm sure I'll have tons of pics starting on Thursday!

Hugs, Annie
