It HAS BEEN A WEEK.
We were in play off mode x100 here and because of terrible weather it was dragged on and on and on and didn't end until last night. That's why there's been radio silence for me We spent the last 3 nights dragging our butts in after 8:30 PM and then just throw in a late Spring Concert for the girl.
The season for the girls came to an end last night. Super emotional for our SENIOR Captain of the team. The end of her high school era. BUT the night ended with HUGE EXCITING news for her. She won the ALL COUNTY player award and even bigger the ALL CONFERENCE PLAYER of the YEAR! Wowwww. Awards ceremony in a few weeks. Such an amazing well deserved honor. Couldn't be prouder and something tells me we're not done seeing her on the softball field. Never know what the future holds in NC...

But what a way to end the best season on record for her. Top homerun hitter in the county and then the awards. Today was the first afternoon in 3 months she was able to come home from school with no practice, no game, no nothing and kick off this Memorial Day Weekend on a super high note!
I'm still beaming over that great news. So that's where we are right now. Enjoying from today on what's left of her high school career. LOTS to still attend and celebrate and now we can breathe (a bit lol) Still have to get her prom dress completely altered and buy a white dress for graduation and a dress for myself. The weather here is supposed to be awful all weekend, so that's a bummer, but I'm good with having no obligations.
