HOME RUN #8!

Yessss. Right after I wrote my last update to you. CRACK, the girl hit her 8th homerun of the season AND BROKE the EAST ROCKAWAY HS current home run record! I know! Talk about going out this SENIOR year with a BANG! So very proud of our girl!

She was super excited when the Coach told her when she crossed the plate- You broke the record! That's a smile I'll never forget.

She was away all weekend down in VA performing and enjoying some big amusement park down there. The down side, she came home super sick with a terrible sinus infection. So she's on major antibiotics and of course had a big game tonight. We just got home. She has 4 games this week. We are crawling here. But they did beat one of their BIG rivals tonight which made everything worth it. 

Saw Dad for a little bit this weekend. He's not recovering as fast as we'd all like. The surgeon saw him today and is looking into what's causing the issues he's having. So we will know more this week. Very up and down. One day good, the next terrible. So frustrating for him. He'll get there, in time.

I've been in the thick of SENIOR MOM INSANITY. We have a surprise (with her friends) Bed Dec Party coming in June, all the end of year parties/celebrations, Awards Ceremonies, End of Softball, Graduation, The Girls' Party. Lots happening all at once. But would I have it any other way? Naaaa. Too boring. LOLLLLLLL

So I've been a planning, ordering Queen. Just trying to keep my head above water and on track with everything. Oy! Day by day.
