From Palm Beach.
We are grateful and tanned and well rested! Yipppeeeeee
We got home yesterday afternoon and wish we were back on the beach! The weather was stunning. Every day! 80's not too hot, just perfect. We went to the beach every day we were there. It was great!
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw I posted the first day we were there, the famous baseball player Johnny Damon was sitting directly behind us at the resort with his family while we were on the beach. Little kids running up to him asking for his autograph! It was funny! He played for the Yankees and Boston and won The World Series for BOTH teams. Pretty cool.
The resort was beautiful. Right on the beach/ocean. So basically, we woke up every day, had breakfast , then sunbathed until 2 or 3 showered and went to dinner in Palm Beach. The restaurants were hoppin it was definitely the "it" place to be.
We didn't have an agenda or itinerary for the first time, so we just went with the flow. It was mostly a relaxing, reset vacation for us. We all needed it. Bittersweet, as you start to think about how life will change drastically in the next 6 months. All happy BUT also very sad for parents of Seniors.
So, Palm Beach was gorgeous. We stayed on Singer Island, which I would definitely recommend. We also did a morning trip to Delray Beach which was also pretty happening. Lots of restaurants and shops.
We came home to really cold temps yesterday and we were beat. Our travel times for this trip were SUPER early. That with the Dramamine and forget it. I crashed, exhausted last night. So today, we will unpack and do laundry. Charlotte has rehearsals for Rock Rivalry and her art interpretations to complete for that. Busy, but chill busy. Today, is taxes for us too.
Hope you all had a fabulous week. Hugs, Annie
