What a great feeling, no school today. Woop.
The best part is we also start Midterms Week tomorrow so we aren't teaching at all this week. Just proctoring exams. Perfect!
We had back to back snowstorms this weekend. Not a lot of accumulation, just enough to make it messy and cold. We had a girl's day of shopping and fun planned yesterday with Charlotte, Marina, Barb and my Mom, we almost canceled because the weather was bad, but I made my car into a sleigh and off I went to pick up the girls to stick with the plan. We had a fun day of shopping and eating out and laughter! Was a really nice time to sit with the girls. Marina is so excited over her college news :) I have to start collecting things for her now that I know where she's going. Our girl is still waiting and just trying to get through this week of exams. Some of her colleges are waiting for her mid-year grades. So, like I said, it's day by day here. Can't wait until it's all behind us. But, we have to be patient.
So, today is a study day for the girl. And she's also eyeballs deep in the musical, rock rivalry practices and softball. I guess busy is better than not.
That's all for now. Sorry for The Bills sad loss this weekend. A few of those calls were questionable. Tonight, is the big college game- Indiana is my pick. Love that quarterback and the story!
