Almost Friday!

 Happy Frigid Friday Eve!

We are still navigating a lot of snow here. Now there's just GIANT piles of it in the streets, roads and it's all ice on top of it so it makes otherwise easy tasks, difficult. Just to park and go into a store, school. They've just piled the snow wherever. UGH And the below freezing temps have iced everything over. 

So it was all pretty and cute a few days ago, but now, we're over it! LOL  So much so, that Web cane home yesterday and surprised Charlotte and I with a February getaway in 2 weeks to sunny Palm Springs! Yup. We need to get out of here. He said it would be a nice escape from all this freezing cold, SENIOR year stuff and our last trip the 3 of us before the college milestone. He booked it last night and we are thrilled. We are leaving Feb 15th for 5 days. Normally, I'm the planner so this was a nice surprise!

We just have to get through these next two weeks. Charlotte made it through her Midterm Exams and has been receiving her scores and she came out smiling from school today! Man, it makes me happy when she's happy. So much stress. I just can't wait to celebrate with her when it's her turn. Marina got more exciting news yesterday -she got accepted to Northeastern University in Boston! That was her reach school. So she is crushing it and has some great choices now. But she will most likely follow the money. GO HER!

That's all for now, braving the cold and settling in at night, just to get warm LOL earlier than usual. I'm sure you get it.
