Happy Sunday guys!
Sigh, we made it! LOTS and LOTS going on here. We hosted the entire gang for Thanksgiving as you know. We had around 16 people. And it went the smoothest it's ever been. Well, we won't talk about the Scavenger Hunt ! LOLLLL I took a lot of time to create this scavenger hunt in and outside the house, with the end prize being a pretty hefty money prize for the team to split. My assistant messed up the 2nd and last clue so that ummmmm, created a bit of insanity and havoc, but everyone seemed to have a great time. Lots of laughs. Great food, we do a traditional dinner and way too many desserts. All in all a great success! Spiro's Team won the big scavenger hunt money prize! Unfortunately Eva was working at the restaurant and couldn't make it but we hope to see her for the big Christmas Eve shindig :) Isabel told us she just found an apartment much closer to NYC where she works and just moved in the day before Thanksgiving with a roommate. BIG place and only 17 minutes from work! Score.
The Black Friday was decorate the you know what out of the house. Put away all the Thanksgiving decor and we hightailed it outside first. It took us HOURS! I'll post those pics this week. Then I concentrated on the inside. I didn't go to bed until inside AND outside were fully decorated and cleaned at about 11 PM! Then last night, was Charlotte's pre-birthday dinner with friends. They didn't leave our house last night until midnight! They had a BLAST! I'll also post those pics this week. We slept hard last night. All caught up to us since going, going last WED. Today, we have nothing, but will have a small, quiet pre-birthday just the 3 of us with Char. The Coach is working late on her birthday tomorrow until midnight. So she and I will be on our own, but we have a special Broadway ticket gift we want to both give her tonight! Tomorrow she gets to drive herself and two of her friends alone for the first time. Still can't believe she will be 17 tomorrow! Mind blowing.
So yes, a busy week ahead for us of the continuous birthday and anniversary (20 years for us!) LOTS and lots. Good stuff. Emotional stuff.
So for now, here are just a few Thanksgiving pics.
Happy Birthday to our beautiful Charlotte tomorrow!
Hugs, Ann
