Well, today ended just great. Insert sarcasm. Hosting Thanksgiving in 3 days and my debit card was hacked. Yeahhh. So, freaking unsettling and the timing is just perfect. Just perfect. So the bank contacted me, stopped the card. Deleted the card from the system and left me with nothing. They said I couldn't even set up digital pay. So, this is just great.
Then the lady on the phone said, Well I could rush you a new card otherwise you won't have access to a card until sometime next week! I said okay, rush it. She said but we'll have to charge you. I mean, whaaaat? So someone stole my card and now YOU are charging ME to get one here before Thanksgiving? What is this messed up world we're living in? Oh and did I mention the fraudulent purchase on the card was to buy pot at a dispensary? Yeah, so Happy Thanksgiving to me and I hope the thief who stole my info is stoned and happy he ruined the next few days for me.
Alright, enough ranting. One more day of work/school. We can't wait.
I worked on a cute dessert display today. A backdrop of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Came out cute.
