Just a quick pop in as we are in full Thanksgiving Mode here. Been cleaning and setting up for 2 weeks and thank goodness I did. It made Thanksgiving Eve a lot smoother.
Barb and I went over to my Mom's today to pick up all the food she bought for Thanksgiving and then we drove over to the butcher to pick up a fancy 29 LB bird! Barb and I drove everything back to my house to pack it in the fridge and organize it for the big day.
Mom and Barb will be at my house on Thanksgiving morning at 7 AM to help peel a thousand potatoes LOLLL and Mom will prep the turkey which will cook for 6 hours. Then they will all come back to our house at around 1;30-2 for the festivities, football and our first annual Turkey Scavenger Hunt with a money prize at the end. I pre-made 4 teams Web and I will be facilitating and handing out some clues.
Can't wait. Should be FUN!
And on the good news front, my new debit/credit card was rushed to me via UPS and arrived this evening at 4 PM. I've never been happier!
