Hi everyone. We've been busy here these last few days. Web's parents were down visiting for a few days. They went home today. So we were hosting here on our front.
Web's Mom wanted to go into NYC to some Irish museum yesterday. Didn't really appeal to the 16 year old, so I stayed back with her and the two of us had a real nice day together out in The Hamptons. I took her on an early birthday little shopping trip to this famous boutique all the kids love. It was so nice. Just the two of us. I cherish these rare times with her. Lots of quiet conversations, lots of laughs, some tears, but most of all quality time with my favorite person.
We all met up back at the house at around 4:30 and went out to an early pub dinner. Came home to do my own schoolwork and Charlotte had a lot of studying to do. The show must go on and all. So, it was back to waking up at 5 AM today and back to school. Tomorrow night we have another super late night for Parent Conferences at school. We won't be getting home until 9 PM. It's been a lot jammed into these short 12 weeks since school started,
And the weather? Whoa! It was flurrying yesterday on and off. Meanwhile Monday, I didn't even wear a jacket to work. Go figure. Still really cold here today and about to rain again.
Charlotte is late tonight at school for her musical pit rehearsal, I'm cozied up in my sweats and about to figure out dinner. Although, I'm not very hungry.
That's all for now. Just trying to get through the next few days. This weekend we will make another attempt to take our Christmas card pic. Coach Web is leaving Friday to head to Albany he has only one runner who made it to States and is going to cheer her on I guess. He'll be back Saturday. Going, going.
