Happy Columbus Day!
Well, we hunkered down with the rest of the east coast all weekend to prep for the nor'easter. There were definitely high winds and it's still pouring, but nothing too terrible. So that's good. They were telling us it would be crazy bad. But it wasn't here at all.
Unfortunately, it did pour rain for the last 3 days. this definitely put a damper on the 3 day weekend. But I did manage to start purging and organizing before the big holiday season approaches.
Charlotte and her Dad went to see Princeton on Friday and it was stunningly beautiful. She seemed excited over the science (STEM) opportunities it offered. I mentioned she plans on studying Bio Chem. So we shall see....
Saturday the coach had an all day meet outside in the crappy weather and Charlotte and I had the chance to spend a nice fall afternoon out at a great Mexican restaurant and then our favorite bakery. It was much needed and really nice. Just what we needed.
Today, she's volunteering at a pumpkin decorating event at a local restaurant, so that should be fun. While I work on my schoolwork and continue to organize and purge EVERYTHING! It's a good feeling, but overwhelming.
Other than that, not much else. Gathering some things for our Halloween dinner and drinks with the family. So I've been trying to organize all of my things for that. I'm going to be the green witch from WICKED and the husband will be the great OZ. Nothing crazy just something easy and festive. Charlotte has 4 parties that weekend! LOL
Have a great start to the week guys!
Hugs, Ann
