Hi all.
Quick check in as we navigate this Halloweek! I finally had my surprise observation in school. It went well. So at least that's one big thing off my head. I was waiting and waiting. Should have been done weeks ago, but I guess my Asst. Principal was way behind schedule. So that was a big thing done.
Lots on my mind lately, just in kind of an overwhelmed funk. I'm sure you can all relate. Little by little I'll get over this overwhelming hump. Then onto the next big thing right? LOLLLLL
My hip has been bothering me again. I had a 1 year period where it was totally healed and now it's back a little again. Maybe time to see my acupuncturist friend again. It's stress I'm sure, lack of sleep, poor diet, lack of fun, shall I go on? HA!
Anyway, speaking of fun, I decided we, I, needed a pick me up so I invited over the gang, to wear a costume and celebrate Halloween on Friday with some homemade chili, snacks and take out and of course a glass of wine. Why not, right? What else would I be doing? Char would be out at a party and I'd be sitting by the front door handing out candy. Why not invite the people I love over to keep me company?
So that's that. I also just got invited to one of Charlotte's close friends Megan, her Mom is turning 50 this weekend and I was invited to a surprise dinner for her at a local Italian restaurant on Saturday. I really don't leave the house much aside from work and dropping Char off at various places so I welcomed this invite with open arms.
Okay guys. Weather here is still unseasonably warm. You don't even need a jacket. It's bizarre. But the mums are vibrant!
