SENIOR YEAR!

 Well, if you follow me on Instagram you saw my big post today about sending Charlotte off to start her Senior Year! Didn't hit me until I was setting everything up and writing her my letter. Then I collected a whole bunch of toys she used to play with as a kid and lined the stairs out of her room with them holding balloons as a send off. She was balling crying, I was balling crying! Don't ask. And it's just Day 1. LOLLLLL

I was not prepared at all for the wave of emotion. Neither was she. Yikes.

We decided to take her out for a quiet breakfast to celebrate the kick off to her Senior Year. Just the three of us. It was nice.

I posted a really cute pre-K graduation pic of her next to her current Senior cap and gown picture and wow. That did her in!

So Web and I start teaching tomorrow, Charlotte's first day is Wednesday. They do what's called a Senior Sunrise where they all meet at 6AM on the football field to watch the sunrise together. All the schools here do it. It's a nice tradition.

So, I'll be checking back in on WED with a LAST/FIRST Day of SCHOOL photo. Gulp. Marina too. This is her Senior Year also. And Char also passed her road test of Friday! So lots to celebrate here.
