DAY 1- SENIOR YEAR

Well, the girl had quite the early send off today as she had the whole house up at 4 AM, so she could get ready and picked up at 5 AM to get breakfast and watch the sunrise on the football field with all the seniors this morning. Such a fun tradition. It's symbolic in so many ways. It was emotional and exciting and so great for her. Then they went right to their first day of classes. And no cellphones in schools anymore. They have to be locked away all day. So it was killing me not to hear from her all day, but so worth the wait when she got home and had tons and tons to tell me and talk about!

They decorated her friends car last night and they all pile in to head over to school, take a our family.

ton of pictures and really embrace the start to THE most important, meaningful year of school!

We survived Day 2 with the high school students. It's like riding a bike.

My workload is less than last year, so I am embracing this time to exhale and recover from that insanity last year.

The Coach is coaching and his first meet is in the BRONX early on Saturday. Char and I will head over to my parents to celebrate Dad's birthday. He's the kick off to all the fall birthdays in our family. We have a bunch.

Okay guys, tomorrow is Thursday already then the weekend! Yipeeee.

Hope you have a great rest of the week guys. Check back Friday with a recap.

Hugs,

Annie
