Summer Finally Starts For Us.

 Happy Friday Eve everyone.

We've been getting our heads on straight since last weekend's big Boston insanity. Mr. Web was locked up in the guest room all day for the last 3 days on a ZOOM meeting writing the English Regents. Charlotte has been waking up early and shuffling off to the camp she works at and then right after going to a 2 hr driver's ed lecture! It's been a doozy of a week. Thank goodness her last day of work is tomorrow and her last driver's ed is just 2 more classes. Thank you Jesus. We've had no summer break yet.

Aaand the fun continues tomorrow with Web's second foot surgery. He has to be there at 5:30 AM! Which is kind of good, maybe he'll be out early. And we've already been down this road in February, so we know what's coming. This weekend he'll be laid up for sure. He wasn't really up and about last time for a few days. So I expect he'll be in pain again the first few days with little getting around and I'll set him up either on the new cozy couch or up in the guest bedroom. So tomorrow will be super busy for us.

Just glad that Charlotte will be finished with work after tomorrow. Big thing off the table. The name of her little 4 year old camp group is The Popsicles. So she made them a cute sign for the last day and bought a box of popsicles to hand out. So cute!

Then next Wed/Thurs she has that big college academic softball camp out here on Long Island. So hopefully, it will be a good, positive experience. I'll keep you posted on that.

So that's all for now. It's been BRUTALLY hot here. Hit 100 yesterday. This summer weather has been awful. Everyone is disappointed :( We are hoping to get some relief this weekend.

Had the chance to finally see Mom and Dad today. It's been a while. Since we've been away all of July. Was so good to see them . Good for my soul.
