 Happy Saturday guys!

Let's see what can I update you on... Mr. Web I mentioned was upstate to see his family Tues-Thurs of this week. Seems like he had a nice time. The rumor was he hung TWELVE blinds at his sister's new place! And put together a lounge chair at his other sister's house. I'll remember that the next time I mention getting stuff done around here! LOL

Charlotte was so excited to share her ACT score news with him in person. Still so excited over that here.

She emailed some of those college softball coaches at the big schools she was interested in with her updated ACT and AP scores just to let them know. When we took her to the MIT softball camp in Boston in September, the head coach there made it clear to them if you don't score at least a 34 on the ACT we won't even look at you. Well, guess who showed up at the softball game in CT yesterday? Yup. TWO MIT coaches to look at Char. So those scores really were important. Start praying guys. But man, the smile on Charlotte's face yesterday when she spotted them was picture worthy. So we'll see.

We drove 4 hours in Friday traffic yesterday to CT for her to play only part of 1 game because she had to work until noon so we missed the 2:00 game. Then we turned around at 6:30 when the game was over and drove back home. Much quicker only 2 1/2 hours but still, six hours in the car, then playing , oof it was a lot for 1 day. She has no games today because she has her boyfriend's graduation party. BUT, we drive back to CT tomorrow do do it all again.

Her BIG showcase with a lot of the big time school coaches is at the end of July. That's a biggie. Then Aug 5th, we have her scheduled to attend an all day camp out on LI with all the Northeast school coaches, so like I said, fingers crossed. We will keep you posted. Now her coaches are saying she has to change her jersey number from 3 to 35 .LOLLL  So cute.

Other than all the school, softball excitement, we are battling the heat and humidity like the rest of the country. It's so oppressive. Makes it unenjoyable ya know? We did have a nice beach day the other day though. At least there's a breeze.

We slept in today after being so tired from yesterday. Felt good. We needed it. Big time.
