Hope you are all having a great 4th of July weekend. Weather here was PERFECT! The first not too hot, zero humidity summer days we've had in over a month. Amazing.
We had one of the best 4ths we've had in years. Super low key it was just 8 of us, we splurged on some delicious food and LAUGHED. Like good, old fashioned belly laughing. The two youngest hung out and walked over to a friend of Charlotte's house for a party, stayed for about 2 hours then came home. We had fireworks, the guys watched the Mets vs Yankees game and it was exactly what we all needed.

So today, Charlotte took the ferry over to Fire Island to stay overnight at a beach house her friend's family is renting. I'm glad she's going out and having fun before softball starts up in full force next weekend.
She also starts her job on Monday until noon everyday. So good all around. Loving being on vacation from work. My brain and body needed it.

Today, is major rest day. I was on my feet all day yesterday cleaning, prepping and hostessing. Time for a chill day :)
Off I go to catch up on my shows. Enjoy this glorious weekend weather.
