We Made It!

Yesterday, was our last day of teaching the students. Man, it felt good. Looooooong, trying, busy year for this teacher and her Junior daughter. As much as I'm so sad to be thinking about Charlotte in her Senior year, which honestly, I CANNOT even wrap my head around emotionally or mentally, I'm very happy to be closing out this year. It was a DOOZY. With a lot of unexpected twists and turns, but we are here :) We made it.

Final Exams started today. I didn't have to proctor so it gave me a chance to catch up on paperwork. It was a super busy day though. I made a noon appt. for Charlotte to get a much needed hair cut, etc. Then we raced home so I could get her to driver's ed, then we drove an hour away for her to get that ALL CONFERENCE award at SUNY FARMINGDALE tonight in the rain. We were BUSY! Was so great to watch her get her award though. Hanging onto these moments really tight... I'm so beyond proud of her.

We ran into a few of her travel ball teammates who also received awards tonight, so that was nice for her :) This was our third time attending this ceremony and we always end it with dinner at Chick filet

It's become a tradition of sorts. We didn't crawl in the door until after 7 tonight. I'm dragging. Big time.

Cannot wait until school is OVER, over. We have off on Thursday which is nice. So an early Happy Birthday MJ Webster! Hope it's fabulous.

Check back in on Thursday.

Hugs,

Ann
