Man, you'd think with Varsity ball off the table we'd have some "free" time. Yeah um just the opposite. I swear. It's been NON STOP. Between running around for end of year gifts, graduation parties, college bed decorating parties, finishing up my Middle School responsibilities and the final exam for the high school, all of the running around prom errands, father's day, dear lord it has really been non stop. And expensive.
I can barely catch my breath these days. I'm currently waiting for Char to get home so I can run her over to the tailor to get her dress hemmed for another bazillion dollars. Then she has travel ball practice until 8 PM in the 90 degree heat today.
I dragged her to my favorite store for special gifts (it's a hike) yesterday because we had a little less after school than normal. I love that store! It's the best.
So today, dress hemming and practice. I have schoolwork to wrap up and gifts to wrap. There just isn't enough of me to go around.
I'm so over this Middle School unexpected job, too. It went from 2 weeks to 6 months. Yeah, done with that.
So, on a brighter note, the girl came home yesterday with the exciting news that not only is she her Class President, but she ran in the election for President of the entire High School and won! She was also voted President of Honor Society so GO CHAR!!!
