Happy Father's Day!

 Happy Sunday guys.

Happy Father's Day to all of you celebrating today.

We had a non-softball weekend here which felt so darn good for all of us. A much needed break indeed. Charlotte took the ACT Exam for the last time early yesterday morning. So she's glad to have that behind her and will find out the results in 2 weeks. Glad she's done with all of that college testing. Phew!

Yesterday, in the monsoon, I met up with Barb, my friend Cindy and our friend Liz for a late lunch. It was nice to get out of the house. Life for me has been nothing but work (2 places), Charlotte, softball, endless errands for her, repeat. So it was nice to see them.

Today, we went for an early brunch at my parents' place. It was quite a spread my Mom laid out. We will be full for the rest of the night. My brother is finally feeling better and came with the kids. We haven't seen them since Christmas Eve, so it was a much overdue, needed get together. Eva had to work at the restaurant, so she was the only one missing, but man, it was so great to see them and catch up. We are trying to plan a little overnighter to Atlantic City all of us sometime over the summer. That would be SO much fun! Haven't done anything like that in so long.

So we are now home and I'm trying to grade my Final Exams. UGH. Tomorrow is the last day of teaching (6/16) and boy oh boy am I so happy to see this day.

I took Charlotte's prom dress up to the tailor on Friday and brace yourself to HEM it and fix the zipper- a whopping $183 ! LOL  That's what you pay on Long Island for a hem. Whoa.

Moving on , the only last pre-prom TO DO I have is to make her nail appointment and get her in for a haircut on Tuesday. Her hair takes a beating every softball season and she needs a healthy cut. So that's Tuesday. Then Tuesday night we head over to SUNY Farmingdale for her to receive that ALL CONFERENCE award. So Tuesday is very busy.

Crawling to the finish line here and cannot wait for it all to be over so we can REALLY ENJOY this summer. This year has been a doozy. Just wow.

Okay all, hope you are celebrating a fun Father's Day with your crew.

Hugs,

Annie
