Happy Friday Eve all!
We are definitely tired here tonight, but still floating on Cloud 9 as our little slugger hit a fantastic homerun at last nights nailbiter of a game!
MaryJo and David were there to see it in person too. So that was nice for them. They were losing to the #1 team in the division 9-2 or 9-3 it was looking not so great, then they rallied and BAM- Char hit her homerun and they were on their way to eliminating that team from a slot #1 clincher. It was an exciting game. Best I've seen in years. There was a write up about her in the Newsday today. We ae so beaming proud and there was another write up from the other game where she went 4 for 4. The Comeback Kid.
Such great stuff. We left the game and had a late dinner then went home to collapse. We were all super tired today. Especially when that 5 AM alarm went off this morning! Ouch. And poor Char had practice after school and is currently speaking as an officer for the Honor Society Induction in a dress and heels. Imagine? The LAST thing she wants to be wearing right now. LOL
So now, we play the only other team they lost to tomorrow night. Please send some good vibes guys. I'm hoping they crush it now that they have this fire going! I'll check in over the weekend with a recap.
Next week is filled with games back to back! If the rain holds out.
