MONDAY FIVE.

 1. Charlotte's Weekend.

Well, the girl had a super fun 3 days away at Hershey Park. She went with the Music Dept and had a ball. It's always a fun time when you get to go away to an amusement park for 3 days with your closest friends. She loves those crazy rides too. They performed and competed on Friday night and then were allowed to be at the park all day on Saturday. Sunday they went on a tour of the chocolate factory and Charlotte was secretly picked to go with a Hershey rep to taste test new flavors that aren't out in public yet! She and 3 other students out of their whole group were asked to taste test and rate the new flavors. How cool, right? We were super excited when she finally got home last night and she was equally excited, especially for a warm, homecooked meal.

2. Softball This Week.

The girl kicks off the week with a game tonight at 5. She's exhausted from the weekend away. Then she has a game Wednesday (the Web, Srs. are coming for that) and Friday AND Saturday - Dear Lord. Busy week for us.

3. Our Weekend.

What did we do all weekend while Charlotte was away? No, no fancy dinners or nights out. I had a terrible weather related sinus migraine most of Saturday, then just a crummy day. Sunday I wanted to go to Home Depot to buy some boxwoods to fill in the front garden bed with. Last fall we ripped out all of the overgrown shrubs from the front, now we replant and make it look cohesive! Good thing I have that second job income. Yike$$$

4. My Parents.

Mom has finally tested negative after having Covid for 2 weeks. My Dad was still testing slightly positive as of yesterday. Then my hairdresser texted me that she had it! UGH So hopefully, they will be back on track soon.

5. Counting Down The Days.

I don't have a number for you of how many days are left of school, but I know it's in the 30's. This second job that came up unexpectedly has been great money, but it's blood money. It entails A LOOOOOT of responsibility. Much, much more than was initially presented to me. But, do I ever say no? This was eye opening. Man. Cannot wait to be done with it...

Have a great start to the week all.

Love,

Ann
