Happy Good Friday guys!
We had the last few days of Spring Break FILLED with travel and games and all the things!
First off, our little slugger is back out on the field, slowly getting back to herself. Had some insanely good hits right out of the gate. SO proud of her comeback. She'll get there. She's not sliding yet, but playing the field and hitting!! GO CHARLOTTE!
There was a real nice write up about her in the paper the other dat. Real nice.
She's at physical therapy as we speak. This will probably be her last visit as she graduates from the injury.
Next up, we jampacked A LOT of travel to Boston/Mass. in 24 hrs and a lot to see. People were like you did what? Traveled that far for just 24 hrs.? Yeah, not the smartest move but we had no time. As you do these things, you're like- Never again... It's too much.
We had a very long tour (too long) of Clark University. Charlotte met with the softball coach and loved her but the school, not so much. Let's just say, she would not fit in there. Yikes. But glad we went in person to see it, because those things you don't read about, you have to see for yourself. UGH. Then we went over to the complete opposite, Holy Cross! HOLY GORGEOUS. Just wow. Like night and day. Absolutely stunning. Then we got in the car around 2 pm and drove 3 1/2 long hours home. All to play another softball game yesterday at 10 am. So yeah, A LOT.

Next up, Easter prep. Well, my both parents just found out they have COVID. They've NEVER had it and feel awful :( My Dad worse than my Mom. They are coming along but they are in the worst of it right now. They will miss Easter so we are bummed out about that. In typical Mary Logios fashion she had already bought all the fixings for the bunny cake Char and I were supposed to bake with her so she left it for us down at the concierge. Poor things, I hope they feel better real soon...
We are still planning on hosting a brunch here Sunday with a few less people, but I have enough food to feed an army so we are good.
(spent a lot of this week painting the front steps and gardening for spring/summer)
That's all for now. Char has another game tomorrow. Can you believe she had 4 games through Holy Week ? Geez, man.
