Weekend Recap!

 Happy Tired Monday guys!

We had a busy, busy weekend. All things Charlotte. Saturday morning we piled into the car and grabbed our warm softball gear and voyaged to the Jersey Shore to watch Char play a full day of softball. It was sunny to start, but then took a BIG turn in the weather around 1 PM it was brutally cold and wiiiiindddyyyyy. I've been to A LOT of softball games and tournaments and I've NEVER been that cold. We were all freezing. And very happy when it was all over around 4:30 pm. Took us almost 2 hours to get home. We collapsed. We were so tired. But her team scored SECOND PLACE out of the whole tournament, so they all got a medal. Yay.

Then yesterday, the girl had a 10;30 am softball practice for school. She was dragging. BUT, the Mom show must go on... "Mom do you think we could go look at prom dresses after softball?" Ummm, suuuure. So we did. We struck out at the first boutique and wound up finally finding a dress she fell in love with at the second place. The only size left was remarkable hers and in this gorgeous shade of emerald green. I'm just so glad she loves it so much. Very different from her dress last year, but just as beautiful. It arrives for pick up next week and shocker, may not need any alterations! SHOCKED! You get what ya pay for I guess. LOL

So that was a huge thing to check off the list. HUGE.

We are chugging along here. My Dad had an unexpected heart procedure Friday. He had two blockages and stents put in so he's recovering from that. Hopefully, he'll feel so much better now that he's all repaired.

Web is still recovering too. His stitches were removed, but he's still throbbing after doing too much. He has to ice it. After being out on the softball field all day, he felt it, he's still limping but he'll get there...

We are also trying to rent a beach house down at the shore again this summer for a little getaway. So we'll see how we can work that around his second surgery after softball is over. We will definitely be ready for that vacation when it comes.

That's all in the family news. Have a great start to the week.

Hugs,

Ann
