TGIFREAKING F!

A triple, 2 singles, a walk and a partridge in a pear treeeee....

The Captain had a rockstar game last night. She led with confidence and excitement. It was so nice to see her so happy! She also had a phenomenal play at shortstop. Where, even her coach, who never calls them by name shouted, "Great play Charlotte!} LOL  She was shocked he called out her name.

So they crushed their second game, which was refreshing. And did I mention FREEZING? Yikes. My parents braved the cold temps again for as long as they could. They saw her get up at bat around three times, then packed it in. As a matter of fact, Web and I were the last parents left standing. Everyone scurried to their heated cars to watch. Took us a really long time to thaw out after walked in late last night. Ugh.

Thank goodness she has no game tonight. But we'll be up and out early tomorrow for a 10 am game. Yikes. Was supposed to be warm, but of course the forecast changed and now it'll be freezing and raining. Ahhh, the story of our softball season, right?

So, at least she has tonight off and tomorrow after the game, she'll be free to be a 16 year old.

I'm already changed into my Friday night pjs and couldn't be happier!

I'll keep you posted on Saturday's game. Wish the Captain luck!

Hugs, Ann
