O Captain! My Captain!

Charlotte had her first softball game of the school season last night. And they won 20-1! Go Team! We froze our butts off. Mom and Dad braved the cold with us to cheer on, who my Dad calls, "Little Derek" LOLL If you know baseball, you get it. He loves watching her play.

Aside from winning by a lot, the little Junior was named Captain of the team last night with a Senior girl! It was quite the acknowledgement and I'm so glad we witnessed it. She was the happiest I've seen her in a long time. Well deserved for sure! GO CHARLOTTE!

So we came home around 7:30 last night, thawed out and collapsed tired. She doesn't have a game tonight, but has one away tomorrow night and Saturday morning.

We will definitely be busy the next few days. The husband has a little cameo role in our HS Musical. He's at a practice for that after school today and Friday and the show is next weekend. Char and I will go on Saturday night.

That's all for now. Counting down the days until Spring Break. We cannot wait, since my February Break was spent tending to the patient after his surgery. Way too much inside for a "vacation", so I'm hoping  this one is way more fulfilling!

Happy Wednesday xo Ann
