Happy St. Patrick's Day y'all!
Hope you have a blessed day filled with lots of Irish luck :) We went to Mom and dad's for dinner yesterday to celebrate. She made the corned beef in the crockpot with the Guinness beer. Seems that a lot of people make it that way. She made cabbage, smashed potatoes, salad, Irish soda bread. The works. We brought dessert and it was just a nice, chill family get together.
Dreary, rainy, damp day here today. I'm now in Parent Fundraising mode. I am in charge of another fundraiser for Charlotte's class parents at a bar/restaurant that just opened in town. It's Friday from 6-9pm, raffle baskets, live music, appetizers. I hope it's a good turnout. So, I'm decorating low key with balloons and flowers that's it! It's an already decorated pub, so it doesn't need too much. I've been gathering raffle basket donations. My Mom donated a beautiful spring basket, I donated two of them, Marina donated one and the rest have been donated by other parents. So fingers crossed, all goes well and I can't wait to cross that big event off the list!
It's a busy week for me in general. Wednesday I'm getting observed by my Asst. Principal, so I have to type up that lesson tonight and Thursday night we have those dumb parent/teacher conferences for the THIRD time this year and another after that in April! It's a lot. But, hour by hour right?
Okay guys, have a fun day.
Love, Annie
