Happy Monday all!
Well, I couldn't wait for Charlotte to get off that cruise ship yesterday and BAM! That excitement quickly turned to sudden sickness nurse on duty again!
Charlotte was extremely sick from yesterday morning, on the way home they had to pull over on the parkway, all day and night yesterday she was vomiting for 12 hours with a fever and chills, then sweating. That's the most sick I've seen her in 16 years aside from the MONO. Super sick :( None of the other girls are sick (yet!)
She slept in the bed with me last night because she needed to be closer to a bathroom and she was so shaky I couldn't leave her. The last she got sick was midnight last night, then she woke up at 4 am sooo thirsty and sweating. She's been sleeping ever since thank goodness because every time she closed her eyes yesterday, it made her sick. So, here we are. What a bummer for her coming off a beautiful vacation. Poor kid. She's still sleeping, so I'm not disturbing her. I bought Pedialyte ice pops I have in the freezer, I'm hoping she can keep that down today. I'm home from work taking care of her. But I just saw on the news, there's a second wave of this flu running across the US. So beware. We are in the thick of it here, unfortunately.
So send us some positive vibes in getting Char healthy again. UGH. Never a dull moment, right?
But I'm so glad she's home.
