Happy Friday y'all!
Snowed a little bit again last night. Just enough to make it messy and super cold. But nothing big. It's bitter freezing here and windy. Guess it's like that everywhere- BUT the Bahamas! The girl is living her best life in the 84 degree temps in Baha Mar, Bahamas. We keep getting picture updates and videos of the beach and we're sitting here bundled up... LOL Can you say jealous?
I was sent a really funny video of her yesterday in a surf simulator where she was battling waves at high speed on a surf board and at the end there was a wipeout! LOLLLL She looks very happy, tanned and relaxed. Which makes me very happy.

They are starting to cruise home on the seas tonight and will get to NY by Sunday morning! We miss her a ton, but are so excited she's having the best time.
The patient is coming along, he went back to the surgeon this week, he said he should be in pain that's normal, day by day, he'll be able to put more weight on it. He's in a boot and still has stitches. He'll go back next Thurs for the next visit and hopefully graduate to the next step.

Going back to work and standing all day on Monday will be the eye opener, I'm sure. He's had the luxury of resting/napping/etc all week while we are on vacation. So we'll see.
Charlotte's life (and ours) gets even busier than normal when she gets back. School ball starts, she has the grade war competition and show and the artwork she's in charge of and all the in betweens. It's bone chilling freezing out and she apparently has a very unnecessary travel ball tournament next weekend. Like, huh? No comment.
So, we hope you are having a great week. These temps have definitely kept people inside and hunkered down. My work dept and my parents gave us very generous food gift cards while he's recovering, so we've put those to good use. Lots of Netflix, etc. we've been inside watching...
Have a great weekend guys. Can't wait to see Charlotte soon! Missed her like crazy.
