Happy Weekend y'all!
We made it. It was a long one, but thank goodness we have a long weekend next weekend. Charlotte is scheduled for another softball camp at Wells College-again in Massachusetts. We will make this one a family getaway because I've never seen it. It's apparently the sports rival to Amherst.
It was FREEZING cold here all week. Not sure what the weather is by you, but man, it was the coldest temps we've felt here in a long time. When the high is 22. LOL It's a bit chilly I'd say. That with the high winds, forget it.
Glad it seems to have passed today, the winds anyway. Charlotte has her travel ball practice tomorrow from 1-4! UGH. Indoors of course but it's far and long...Then Sunday she has a short school softball practice in the morning.
She and I sat for about an hour and a half yesterday after school to fill out all of her activities, sports, awards, office positions and volunteering for her 3 years of HS so far, to get ready for her college applications. It was A LOT. But man, am I glad that a big TO DO finished. Junior Year ain't no joke!
Just hope it all works out for her in the end. Keep sending her good vibes please :)
So we are in full new year swing here. Me, with this new crazy job, Char with all of this test taking and college prep with softball too. Yikes!
The girl gets to unplug and finally enjoy herself as she was invited on her first cruise to the Bahamas to celebrate her good friend's 16th birthday! LUCKY girl!!! I'm so jealous. She leaves the first day of Feb break which I think is around 2/15 for a week! We need to go shopping for that trip. Ahh when to find the time...
Web is having his foot surgery also during that break. So while Char is on the high seas living her best life in the sun, I'll be waiting on the coach...
Just wanted to check in before the weekend gets going. Hope to see Mom and Dad maybe for dinner this weekend some time. Haven't spent much time with them since Dad was sick.
