Just a quick check in guys to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving.
We will head over to Mom's around 12;30, she's set to sit down to eat at 2. My brother is coming from CT so the earlier we eat, the better with all that traffic. His kids won't be joining us this year, so it will be all of us and Uncle Joe and the 2 youngest grandkids :) I'm all about low key this week, so I'm down with that.
(had this local Candy Lady make up this delish choc covered candy dish- choc covered oreos, pretzels, twizzlers you name it, so cute right?)
SOOOO glad I forced myself to finish all of the holiday decorating over the last 2 weekends. Now, I can really appreciate that it's all finished. I can concentrate on wrapping and organizing my gifts. Speaking of gifts, Charlotte's (gulp) real 16th Birthday is Sunday! Just WOW, right? She'll be taking her driving permit test next week. Stop the clock.
She went to see her new batting coach again last night. She really seems to like this lady. She played D1 for UCONN. She knows what she's doing. Charlotte has a fancy Sweet 16 to go to tomorrow night and other than that, pretty chill and quiet. She's invited over 7 close friends for a casual dinner on Sunday. Nice and low key. I'm so glad the over the top Sweet 16 was in August. Again, great decision.
