Quick check in today. The Coach was gone all weekend at States, the team finished 6th in the state which is where they were projected to finish. So no surprises there. The trip was long and grueling, they ran at 1 pm on Saturday and didn't walk in the door until 9 pm.
He starts coaching Winter Track today. I guess it's just a meeting one of my students told me, but that starts today. So no break.
The girl and I just chilled this weekend. She had a fun Sweet 16 casual brunch and I cleaned the house to prep for some PHASE 1 Christmas decorating I did yesterday. I'm not the kind of person to put up a Christmas tree and decorations over dust and dirt. Nope. So yesterday, we brought down the holiday bins from the attic, I went through it all, tossed a bunch, started to scatter decorations here and there. Cleaned and decorated the kitchen and we put up the tree and lights. I didn't have energy left to decorate it. That will come in drips and drabs this week, but for now, it's a real good start. The weather has been 70 degrees here so I'd like to decorate outside next weekend.

Not much else happening, just busy getting all of the holiday things DONE. So I'm doing a lot of running out after school to get stuff done before Char gets home. Speaking of, she's meeting up with our math teacher friend from school tonight, she has some specific math questions about the SAT so hopefully, he help her get that clarity.
