Election Day.

 Happy Tuesday guys!

Unfortunately, these two teachers had to work today! What?! The kids all didn't have school but the teachers did. Sigh.

Went to a full morning of meetings analyzing data from Regents, then came home to vote, took 5 minutes, there was no one there! Spent the afternoon with Charlotte on this unusually hot "fall" day, we went to a cute coffee shop, took a nice walk in town and are now settling in.

Tomorrow night we have another late night of unpaid teacher conferences. Still would love to know how they get away with this stuff ya know? FOUR parent conference nights a year AND Back to School Night? No extra pay, here for 5 late nights not getting paid extra, no rewards, it's such a joke. Maybe the next contract negotiation, these issues will all be settled because it's ridiculous. And everyone thinks so.

Enough complaining, just back to back absurdness. Charlotte finally finished softball for the season on Sunday. She's had the last two days off from school and a much needed rest for her brain and sore muscles.

Guess we won't find out who won the election for weeks! LOLLLL I'm just glad it's all almost OVER.
