Happy Monday everyone!
We survived ( barely) this last weekend in October out a middle of nowhere farm in PA for Charlotte to play softball. I mean, middle of NOWHERE. There were horses grazing 10 ft away from them up at bat. Poor horses were dodging softballs left and right. So yes, we were a little confused at the randomness of this location, but it is what it is I guess, who knows?
I'm super sick. I was sick the last time we had spoken, but then the long road trip there, the all day outside hacking coughing, inhaling dust balls and battling this head-sinus-cough thing just really has me knocked out. I went to the doctor today, he prescribed 3 different things. I hope something works because this has kicked my butt!
Please send me some get well vibes. But back to the girl. She did amazing. Had a bunch of hits, great defense plays, all around a great weekend for her playing. So proud of her. I guess that new batting coach really helped her last week, so she's got another lesson tonight.
This weekend, of all this travel and going, going has taught me a huge lesson. Gotta take care of YOURSELF, right? Games, practices, carpooling, lessons should be second in line to your health. Yup, that's never going to happen again.
Hope you all had a great weekend.
Love,
Annie
