TGIF (and off we go again!)

 Still sick here unfortunately, but the softball show must go on right?

I'm bringing meds with me and hoping I get through driving Charlotte to Pennsylvania tomorrow morning. Send me some good vibes please. Web is supposed to head there later on Saturday after his meet but it will probably take him double time depending on the time he leaves. Running, running... One more tournament the weekend after this one. Man, we are excited...

The temps here have been crazy warm all week. Hot, sun shining, not a smidge of fall in the air. It kinda stinks actually. Remember when we froze on Halloween? Even when Charlotte was in elementary school, it was coooold. I would fight with her over wearing a jacket. Now? Forget it. Today it was in the 60's, the other day it was 80! LOL I'm working overtime keeping these mums hydrated and alive!

So, after this week, election week, then the holidays are in full swing! I can't believe it. Again, I'm sure glad we had that big Sweet 16 getaway when we did at the end of August. We are crawling here...

So, I'm trying to get over this horrible cough and head thing that has come to the surface. I'm about ready to take my meds and crawl into bed. Early departure time for me and the girl tomorrow. We are heading out at around 7:30 AM. She has a field call time around 11. This way I'll have a bit of a cushion in case I need it.

Wish us luck this weekend. We never know who's watching. LOL
