Well, the husband just returned from a very short trip upstate. 24 hrs to be exact. He wanted to see his mother and so he did. Glad it worked out for him. We will all be going up there next week for a visit as well. over the weekend after Charlotte finishes her last day of work...

So that left me on Charlotte practice duty and Uber duty for the young teen. We had a nice time together just she and I. It was quiet but I got a lot done.

Did some gardening, attempted to finally get back on the treadmill after the debilitating sciatica (big mistake), did all of the laundry, chauffeured her around town, bought some more things for the big BEACH HOUSE SWEET and climbed into bed around 10 last night.
Now tomorrow, we will tie up any house loose ends before we take off for Maryland on Friday around 12;30 PM. Looking forward to celebrating our last softball tournament this weekend. SO excited about that. Haven't really had much of a summer "vacation" just yet. So I'm anxiously awaiting that start.
Charlotte is also excited to not have to wake up at 7:15 AM to go to work. So next Friday that will all be over for the kid. She works real hard and we are proud of her for that strong work ethic.
I watched the Presumed Innocent finale. If you have Apple TV it's all the rage right now and great.
Really humid again here today. Everyone's kind of over this humidity I guess.
