 Happy Wednesday guys.

Charlotte got some great news yesterday, she got the honorable mention award for ALL- COUNTY in softball! That's pretty darn good. Out of the whole county. So beyond proud of her.

She is now gearing up to start travel ball, which we thought was set to start in 3 weeks, but nooooooooo, we just got an email that he decided to have them play a scrimmage next Saturday with no notice and the following Saturday 2 scrimmages! Like thanks for nothing. Ugh. All those crazy memes that are out about travel ball- I'm here to tell you they are ALL TRUE! We are living the insanity. Jesus take the wheel...

So, where is the little slugger as we speak? A batting lesson with her favorite batting coach! Gotta get READY... No time for rest here. LOL

I mentioned Charlotte is also keeping up with reviewing for her Finals/Regents, so she's going going.

Mom and Dad surprised us with a visit to drop off two pairs of shorts Mom picked up for Charlotte. She's in desperate need of new clothes and we've had ZERO time to go. I was in Walmart the other day and stumbled upon the softest pair of athletic shorts with pockets, I took a chance and bought them (15 yr olds can be very picky) and she LOVED them. And they were all of about 6 bucks! So I sent Mom on a hunt for a few more pairs and she scored! She lives right across the street from Walmart. Yay!

So, the slugger has her last day of school tomorrow for the long Memorial Day Weekend. Lucky girl. Her Dad and I still have to work on Friday! Womp, womp...

I'm planning on celebrating with the family on Sunday with a BBQ and I'm REALLY looking forward to it...
