Tired today. The rainstorm last night kept me awake way passed my bedtime. I saw there was a lot of damage in Florida, too.
Anyway, the girl has been out late at these All County rehearsals. The other night she was gone from 7 AM until 9 PM! Tonight the same AND tomorrow. Yikes. Her friend Megan, who was also chosen to represent the school, she and her mom asked if we wanted to join them for dinner before the show. We said yes for sure. Can't tell you the last time I ate out at a restaurant, May be a nice change. It's easy with them too. We have known them for years. So that will be nice.
My parents are good. I surprised them today with a delivery from their favorite bakery. Something sweet to get them out of this damn health rut. They were excited for the surprise.
Got all of the husband's birthday errands done. This way I don't have to go out all weekend, just to pick up our traditional Carvel cake.
Started to brainstorm ideas for Charlotte's Sweet 16 next year and Annie The Party Planner may have come up with the perfect solution for the kid who has a lot of close friends. LOL Stay tuned for that. If it works out it will be FUN!
What else? Not much. The only week all season the coach doesn't have a track meet, so that's a nice break. Looking forward to celebrating his birthday Sunday after Charlotte has back to back softball practices! Oy it never ends...
That's all for now. Definitely changing temps here. Ugh. For the first time ever, the husband and daughter were home at 3 PM yesterday! All activities were canceled because of the terrible weather!
