Thursday Tea...

Hey guys. Not much tea to be spilled this week. Like I mentioned the other day, it is our first non softball game week in almost 3 months! Let me tell you, that break of not running right after school over to a game, an away game in rush hour an hour away? Well, let's just say, this break was good for our body, mind and soul. The girl still has practice on and off all week, but that game pressure wasn't there. Different vibe, ya know?

The first play-off game is scheduled for Monday at home. Fingers crossed they win on home turf! Please send good vibes our way. It's the best out of 3 games so regardless, they'll play on Tuesday as well... Insert nervous teeth chatter LOL

A piece of Charlotte's artwork was chosen for the end of the year art show and we just heard today it will be on display in The Children's Museum over the summer! Go her. So proud. And the art piece is sooo cool (see below)

We have I think 16 days left of teaching. Yup. I kinda see the finish line. LOL These last few weeks, (the final push ) are usually the toughest. But, we are almost there and can't wait to say, "Adios" to this year.

Did I tell you my niece Isabel got a teaching job, she graduates this weekend from Fordham with her Master's in teaching English. She's so excited and we are so proud of her. She'll be teaching at a HS close to Fordham.

So, as this school year comes to a close, we still have lots on our plate. But that sense of slowing down is on the horizon and gives us a bit of hope.

We are also in the process of making our summer vacation plans as we are limited on when we can go. Looks like our favorite South Carolina may be it. The people I used to be a nanny for years ago and kept in touch with all this time, offered me their estate to stay at in SC. Right where we love to go! So fingers crossed we can get there in August. You should dee this place. When she said, "Our house caretaker will greet you and show you around etc. you can stay in the main house or 3 bdrm guest house!" LOL I was like- SOLD!

Wishing you a fabulous weekend. Calling for rain here, but we need it.

Happy Birthday to Bridget (50!) and David Webster this week!

Check back in on Sunday. Love, Ann
